Gooddata was built from the ground up to respect user privacy and comply with regulations like GDPR, CCPA, and PECR out of the box.

Cookie-less Tracking

By default, Gooddata does not use persistent cookies to track visitors across multiple days or across different websites. We use a privacy-friendly hash of the user's IP address and User-Agent to determine unique visitors for a single day.

Because we do not use cookies or track personal data, you do not need to display an annoying cookie banner on your site just to use Gooddata.

No Personal Information (PII)

Gooddata does not collect or store any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) automatically. We do not track cross-site behavior or build advertising profiles.

All analytics data belongs entirely to you. Gooddata will never sell or share your traffic data with third parties.

Data Residency

For self-hosted instances, all data remains entirely on your own servers, giving you complete control over data residency and compliance.
