GoodData

Filtering Traffic

Gooddata makes it incredibly easy to drill down into your traffic data. Currently, the primary method of filtering traffic in the dashboard is by Date Range.

Date Range Filtering

At the top of your dashboard, you will see a date range selector. By default, Gooddata shows traffic from the Last 4 weeks. You can instantly toggle this to:

  • Last 7 days
  • Last 3 months
  • Year to date

When you change the date range, the URL automatically updates. This means you can bookmark specific date ranges or share the link with your team, and they will see the exact same filtered view.

Custom Filtering (Roadmap)

Advanced filtering capabilities are currently under active development. Soon, you will be able to click on any element in the dashboard (e.g., clicking on a specific country, a referring domain, or a specific page) to instantly filter the entire dashboard by that segment.

This will allow you to answer questions like:

  • "What pages do users from the United States visit most often?"
  • "What is the bounce rate for traffic coming from Twitter?"
